I am a qualified Executive Charity Coach with nearly 10 years of experience in coaching and mentoring. I specialise in providing Executive-level strategic coaching to CEOs of prominent charities such as Citizens Advice, Age UK, and the Community Council for Somerset. Additionally, I mentor a diverse range of social entrepreneurs through Bath Spa University's Social Enterprise Programme, supporting artists, ethical retailers, and members of the LGBTQ+ community.
Before establishing myself as a coach, I held several Executive roles in both the private and charity sectors. I served as CEO of a Local Mind Association for 8 years and, in 2014, founded MMC Ltd, a charity consultancy, alongside other socially driven enterprises including Love Community CIC.
I am also the co-owner of Phoenix Sounds, an independent record store based in Newton Abbot, Devon. I support my husband, who manages the store, with financial management and business development.
My extensive experience across private and charitable sectors equips me with a unique ability to address a wide range of personal and business-related challenges for my clients.
My coaching approach is characterized by my natural empathy, encouragement and optimism.
I am a integrative coach, which means that I adopt a holistic approach that combines various methodologies and tools to address the whole person—mind, body, and emotions—helping clients achieve personal growth, clarity, and alignment across all aspects of their lives.
I am a qualified Excutive Charity Coach, having achieved the ILM Level 7 Diploma for Executive & Senior Level Coaches and Mentors. This strategic-level coaching and mentoring qualification, accredited by EMCC at Senior Practitioner level and the ICF, enhances my ability to work effectively with senior leaders and executives. I also hold a Practitioner-level membership with the EMCC.
I am a certified Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway trainer and am dedicated to promoting positive mental health and wellbeing. I have completed training in the ASSIST program and Mental Health First Aid in the workplace.
I am also a qualified Fundraiser and a Diploma Level Member of the Chartered Institute of Fundraising.
I have been recognised with nominations for several awards, including being a finalist for the Success Women in Business Awards and the Devon Women in Business Awards for my contributions through MMC Ltd. I have contributed to Somerset Life magazine and was a featured speaker at the In Good Company Global Coaching Summit 2024.
