The mentoring service is a chance to experience a one-to-one mentoring relationship with me, and in some cases other experienced mentors that I work alongside. We work closely with you on areas you’ve identified. We share focused knowledge and experience in support of your professional development. Mentoring can cover a range of specialist skills which include Fundraising or Strategic Support.
Fundraising: We can support around improving your bid writing skills, developing a case for support, identifying funding sources and diversifying your fundraising strategies.
Strategic Support: We can help you develop your approach to strategic planning which may include developing your knowledge and tools to create business plans. We can also support you in improving your marketing and communications.
Social Enterprise Support: You may be considering setting up a CIC, or you may be looking to grow your social enterprise - mentoring is a great way of assessing the gaps in your skills and knowledge.
Mentoring will leave you with an increase of skill, confidence and knowledge and will provide you with a set of resources that are practical and will have an immediate impact in the way you work.
Mentoring is delivered in blocks of 6 x 45 minute sessions. All mentoring is delivered online or in person from my coaching office.

In each of the mentoring sessions with Marsha I felt incredibly supported. I was invited to have defined goals per session, according to my needs. I regained trust and enthusiasm for my work, raising awareness about my skills. I gained clarity about how to communicate these to potential clients to have a sustainable income besides grants. Marsha was a very good listener, offering clarity and nonjudgemental support that I needed. I am very grateful for this mentoring opportunity!
I am so grateful to have received coaching support from Marsha in the turbulent months of 2020. I came out of it feeling a lot more confident and with a stronger sense of ‘self’ in the workplace. She supported me in progressing with mapping out what’s next for my career, what drives me and fulfils me – and that seeped into shaping how I protect my personal time too. I’m not sure on what she could improve. I really enjoyed our sessions!
Marsha is fantastic. She is personable, highly skilled, encouraging and empathetic. She has guided me through the process and ensured I have the resources I need to build on my work. Having weekly homework has ensured I stay on track and safeguard very. limited time to maintain progress in a supported, valued and safe environment.
